At the hospital

Ever wonder what it's like to be stuck in a hospital for weeks on end, trying to recover from a stupid accident? Well I never did, but now I live it. Yep, I'm here at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray. It's a pretty new and nice hospital and all the people here are really nice. I especially like my physical therapist, Julie. She is patient with me and yet pushes me to work harder.

Yeah so sometimes I get really tired of  being here and it's frustrating. Like my friends and I were supposed to be going to a concert this next weekend.. Oh well.

One thing they have me do here is blow into this tube that helps my lungs expand all the way to prevent infection. The nurses say I'm one of the best patients they've ever seen do it...Pretty cool.

I just keep thinking if I can push myself a little harder during physical therapy, maybe I'll get out of here sooner. I'm recovering from a broken rib, a broken leg and a fractured wrist. I have some pretty gnarly scares, but compared to some people here, it's not that bad.
